Two DSOs Land on OIG’s “High Risk” List
The OIG’s Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA) was borne out of the False Claims Act of 1986 and is intended as an oversight mechanism with structured monitoring and penalties for violations lasting 5 years following any finding of fraud. Refusal to comply with the CIA results in a company being placed on the OIG’s “High Risk” list. Recently, two DSOs landed on this list.
